About Us
Our company was founded in 2001 by Armando
Arias and Sandra Egea.
Armando Arias is a full member of the
Chartered Institute of Linguists and
has the Diploma in Translation awarded by this Institute. He started
his translation career in the Seventies, when he was working as an editor for a Spanish Publishing House (Editorial Júcar). He has had several translations published in
Spain, one of which (an essay on René Magritte
by David Larkin) is listed
in the Spanish National Library (Biblioteca
Nacional de Espańa). In 1989 he moved to England where he started to
work as a full time freelance translator. He specialises in Telecomms, IT, Law, Local Government and Literary
translations.
Sandra Egea has been translating from English into Spanish since
1999. She has the certificate in Community Interpreting awarded by
the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a Post-Graduate Diploma
in Business Administration by Thames Valley University. She specialises in
Marketing, Family Law, Medicine, Business and Cookery.
